Along with Lorelei and Kyrie, Vanaeit is one of the remaining members of the Sanguine Horse who was there at its founding. Now retired from active sex work, she defies dwarven gender roles by managing the kitchen. With four sapient peoples in Summatio, menu planning can be a challenge and preventing cross-contamination is vital, but Vanaeit always has one elf-safe and one dwarf-appropriate entrée on the nightly menu. She also ensures that one of those dishes is dairy-free, even though the Sanguine Horse is far enough from the waterfront that merfolk cannot easily make the trip. Humans, with their more versatile digestive systems, can enjoy any of the menu offerings.
